  • What time is check-in/check-out? Is there an early check-in or late check-out?

    Guaranteed check in time is 4:00PM and check out time is 11AM.  If you arrive to the resort earlier than 4PM and if available we are able to honor an early check in.  If available we can do as late as a noon check out at no additional cost.  If available we can honor a 1PM check out for an additional $50 and if available we can honor a 2PM check out for an additional $75.


  • Is smoking allowed on the property?

    We do have designated smoking areas out front to the sides of the Porte Cochere and out on our back terrace as well.


  • Are pets allowed on the property?

    Dogs and Cats are the only permitted pets at our pet friendly resort in Virginia.
    We have a weight restriction for your pet of 75 lbs for a maximum of two pets. A pet policy letter will be presented at the time of check-in. The 4Paws rate for pets is $100 non-refundable per pet per room up to six nights and $150 for up to 2 pets per room. $200 additional non-refundable deep-cleaning fee from day seven - day 30.


  • Is there a fee for Wi-Fi?

    Wi-Fi is complimentary and you will just need to choose the network Lansdowne Guest Net and there is no password needed.


  • Is there a fitness center?

    We do have a fitness center that is open at 5:30AM to 9PM. The following amenities are available at our Fitness Center:

  • Do you have a spa?

    Yes we have a full spa offering many treatments such as massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, body treatments, hair care, and hair removal. Our spa resort in Virginia's new Spa Menu captures ingredients and remedies local to Loudoun County, Virginia in a luxurious way, including vinotherapy treatments. For wine lovers, Spa Minérale is incorporating local Virginia wines into their signature facial, massage and nail treatment. The spa hours are Monday thru Thursday 9AM to 7PM, Friday and Saturday 9AM to 8PM, and Sunday from 9AM to 5PM


  • Do you have a pool?

    Open year round we have our indoor heated lap pool along with our hot tub.  After Memorial day and until Labor day we have an outdoor Aquatic Center which has five pools, including a "walk-in" (zero-depth entry) pool,  Waterslide, and an Interactive "pop jet" fountain.


  • What is your cancellation policy? Is it different for holidays?

    A 7-day cancellation policy applies for any stays that occur between 5/27 and 9/2/19. A 72-hour cancellation policy for other stay dates applies.


  • Is there a resort fee?

    As a valued resort guest, you can explore and enjoy unique amenities including in your resort amenity fee. The amenity fee at our resort in Northern Virginia is $32/daily and includes all resort perks:
    • High-speed Internet access in guestrooms and public spaces (meeting space excluded)
    • Daily copy of USA Today
    • Two bottled waters in guestroom upon check-in
    • Unlimited local calls in guestroom
    • Use of health club, box gym and daily fitness classes
    • Access to aquatic center with indoor and outdoor swimming pools 
    • Use of the Golf Driving Range* (golf dresscode required)

  • How much are rollaway beds?

    The fee for a rollaway bed is $40 per night and they are only pemitted in rooms with a king bed due to fire code regulations.


  • Are there taxes and governmental fees?

    We have a room tax which is 6% of the rate and then there is a local occupancy tax which is 7%.


  • Is the property wheel chair accessible? ere taxes and governmental fees?

    Yes the property is wheelchair accessible and we also have ADA compliant rooms as well.


  • Is there free breakfast?  

    We do not offer a complimentary breakfast but we do offer a full hot buffet breakfast as well as a Continental breakfast or you can order a la carte from our In Room Dining menu.



  • What are the closest airports?

    The closest airport to the hotel is Washington Dulles IAD Airport which is approximately 20 minutes from the hotel.  The next closest airport is Reagan Airport DCA which is about an hour from the hotel.


  • Do you offer airport shuttles?

    We do offer a shuttle service to and from Washington Dulles Airport for a fee of $35 per person each way.


  • How do I get to the hotel?

    From Washington Dulles International Airport

    • Leave the terminal on the airport road 
    • Take Exit 9B onto Rt. 28/Sully Road North 
    • Go 5.7 miles and exit onto Rt. 7 West toward Leesburg
    • Travel 3.9 miles (after 3 Lights) on Rt. 7 West 
    • Exit right onto Lansdowne Boulevard
    • Proceed through the traffic light 
    • Make a right onto Woodridge Parkway. 
    • Make your first left into the resort.


  • What address should I put in my GPS?

  • Is there onsite parking? How much is onsite parking? Is it included in the room rate?  

    We do offer complimentary self-parking or we also offer valet parking for $20 per day.



  • How do I make an appointment?

    To request an appointment you can either call the resort directly or you can request an appointment online and one of our reservation agents will contact you to complete  your request.


  • What if I don’t make my scheduled appointment or arrive late?

    We ask that you kindly observe a 48-hour cancellation and appointment change policy. Failure to cancel an appointment with less than 48-hours notice will result in a full charge of the treatment. "No-shows" will also be charged in full. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your spa services to allow time to change. If your schedule permits, we highly recommend arriving an hour early to enjoy our saunas, steam rooms, whirlpools and lounges. If you arrive late for your spa service, your service may be modified. In order to honor the next scheduled appointment, your service will still end at its scheduled time.


  • What is the age limit for spa patrons?

    Guests of Spa Minérale must be at least 18 years of age to enjoy a private spa service. Services to young spa-goers, guests between the ages of 13 and 17, are provided at our discretion and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of any closed door service.


  • Is there a service charge?

    For spa massages and treatments, gratuity is at your discretion. For groups of six or more, a 20% gratuity charge will be added to all treatments.


  • What should I wear and bring to the spa?

    For your comfort, Spa Minérale will provide robes and slippers for treatments.


  • Do I have to be a resort guest to enjoy the spa?

    Our spa can be enjoyed by both resort guests, members and outside guests as well.


  • When should I make reservations?

    To enjoy the best availability of spa services, we suggest making spa reservations at least three weeks in advance


  • What if I have physical, medical or allergy concerns?

    Please always inform the agent when making an appointment of any physical, medical or allergy concerns. Please be sure to inform your service provider if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure, heart ailments or any condition that may prohibit your taking heat, massage or skin care therapies


  • What is the service charge policy? 

    For spa messages and treatments, gratuity is at your discretion. For groups of six or more, a 20% gratuity charge will be added to all treatments.



  • Do I have to be a member to play on the courses?

    You must be a member, a guest of a member or an overnight guest of the Resort to play the Lansdowne course. 


  • Do I have to be a resort guest to play on the courses?

    Only members and resort guests are permitted to play on the Lansdowne Resort Golf Courses.


  • What is the rain policy?

    Tee-times are available to resort guests and members. All tee times are subject to weather delays. If the course are open we are allowing golf at the scheduled tee time. If the course is unplayable or closed due to weather, we will offer you a time to reschedule.


  • What if I am a good player and my spouse is a beginner?

    Our courses have multiple sets of tees for varying skill levels. We also offer Sharkbite, our 9 Hole course, which is perfect for beginners and fun for skilled golfers as well.


  • What method of teaching is used at the Golf Academy?

    The extraordinary staff of golf professionals at our Northern Virginia golf course provides both one-on-one and group lessons to resort guests and club members alike. We have several program at the Academy targeting many aspects of the game – Red Zone scoring, Breaking 100, Operation 36 etc… our goal is determine the students goals, utilize technology (such as Trackman) to validate golfers behaviors and then put together a program that fits.


  • What is the student/teacher ratio?

    Typically for clinics it is a 8:1 ratio


  • When will you be overseeding and aerifying the golf courses?

    We aerify in spring (late March/Early April) and then again the fall (Sept/Oct). With two 18 Hole Championship course we make every effort to schedule aerification in a way that allows one course to heal before aerifiying the other. 


  • How much do range balls cost in addition to my rounds?

    Range Balls are included in fees


  • May I rent golf clubs and shoes?

    We offer new Callaway rental clubs each season for a broad array of users (mens, ladies, juniors, Left Handed, Right Handed, Stiff, Regular etc…). We charge $65 per set for rental, which include 6 golf balls. We do not rent golf shoes but do allow tennis shoes on the course.


  • May I leave my clubs at the golf course during my stay?

    Complementary Club storage is available for our Resort Guests and Members. 


  • Can juniors drive golf carts?

    A valid drivers license is required to operate carts


  • Can I bring a cooler onto the course?

    Outside food and drink is prohibited on the Golf Courses however as golfers play, fully stocked beverage carts travel throughout the courses to ensure golfers are energized to maximum performance. After play, golfers can check up on the latest professional golf scores and news in Pub 46 – a restaurant and sports bar located in the clubhouse.


  • Can someone ride along with me while I play my round?

    Typically this permitted. Please check with the golf shop on  day of play to confirm.


  • What is the cart fee per person?

    At The Golf Club at Lansdowne, cart fees are include your golf, golf package or guest fee


  • What is the pace of play for each course?

    For the benefit of all members and guests we like to maintain a reasonable Pace of Play typically 4:30 minutes.  We ask you keep up with the group in front of you and have player assistance available to help as needed.


  • How do you accommodate handicap players?

    We welcome handicap players, we do not maintain a handicap accessible cart, however, with notice we can arrange to accommodate.


  • What is the cart path rule for the day?

    This is determined by weather, course maintenance, seasonality and other daily factors. We make every effort to accommodate a 90 degree rule whenever possible.


  • What is the dress code?

    Golf attire is required on all course

    Golf Course Attire

    Non-denim slacks or Bermuda-length shorts, collared golf shirts, turtlenecks or mock neck shirts are required for men.  All shirts and hats should be worn in the manner they were designed to be worn.

    Slacks, skirts, reasonable length shorts, skorts, fashionable golf shirts, turtleneck or mock neck shirts are required for women.

    Jeans, cut-offs, oversized shorts, short-shorts, athletic jerseys, mesh shirts, halter, tube or tank tops and t-shirts are not permitted.

    Shoes with metal golf spikes are not allowed.
