Spa Safety, Policies and Guidelines
Due to Covid-19, Spa Minerale has taken measures to ensure the safety and well-being of our customers and staff by requiring all guests and staff to follow newly identified safety standards. The policies, guidelines & procedures listed below will be updated as we adjust to new recommendations and practices:
- Access to the Spa is by appointment only.
- The spa will be offering a limited service menu for massage, nails and hair. The menu can be found on the Lansdowne website. There will be no offerings for Facials or Waxing at this time.
- Spa amenities, including, sauna, steam, whirlpool and lounges, will be temporarily closed.
- Guests & Employees will be required to wear a mask at all times.
- Guests & Employees will have their temperature checked upon entry to the Spa.
- All employees have been certified in disinfecting procedures.
Reservations – Only guests with reserved treatment times will be allowed to enter the Spa. Accompanying guests are not permitted to wait in the Spa and day passes are not being offered.
Spa Access & Facilities – Length of stay in the Spa will be limited. Guests will be allowed into the spa no sooner than 15 minutes before their scheduled treatment time. Guests will have use of the locker room area for restrooms only. Guests will be escorted to the treatment room to change pre & post treatment. At this time, the LOUNGES, SAUNA, STEAM AND WHIRLPOOL AREA WILL BE CLOSED.
Safety – If you have a fever or are experiencing symptoms of the flu or Covid19, please cancel your appointment prior to arrival. Upon arrival, your temperature will be taken. Guests displaying an above normal temperature will not be granted access and the individual’s services will be cancelled at no charge. Guests & employees are required to wear masks while in the Spa. A mask will be provided if you arrive without one.
Check-In Procedures – The check-in process will take approximately 15 minutes to allow for temperature check, completion of waiver, locker assignment. Later arrivals may affect treatment start time and we will accommodate the remaining time with full treatment cost required.
Cleaning Procedures – The spa is certified in Infection Prevention and Control. Additionally, Spa employees will take added measures to disinfect all hi-touch areas, work stations and treatment rooms. We ask all guests to wash their hands frequently for at least 20 seconds and to use the sanitizer stations throughout the Spa.
Personal Touch – Spas are a place to experience and feel healing through touch. During this time, we will minimize personal touches to treatments only. Please pardon us if we do not shake hands or offer hugs.
Payment & Gratuity – The Spa does not add a gratuity to our services as tipping is discretionary. For excellent service, a 20% gratuity is customary. We will finalize your bill at the end of your visit. Please note that the spa does not accept Cash and will not have Cash available. If you would like to tip your therapist in cash, please bring the exact amount and request an envelope at our spa desk.
Cancellation Policy – Any treatment not canceled at least 24 hours in advance of the treatment start time will be charged in full for the booked service.
*If you are pregnant, have an immune deficiency disorder, going through medical treatment or recently ill; we recommend consulting with your physician before having spa treatments.
