Who would say no to cookies in this world? Even Santa can’t say no. Not just the taste, the aroma of peppermint powder and sugar makes your household immediately smells sweet holiday scents. This cookie is best when you combine it with fresh milk. The outside crispness and the soft filling goes so well when it’s absorbed with milk, or you can grab one and have entire piece filled in your mouth. We wanted to inspire you in this holiday season with this delicious Chocolate cookie. Our Pastry Chef Christjana has shared her favorite Chocolate Peppermint Snowball Cookie Recipe to provide a perfect finish to a holiday meal. 

Let’s get started, shall we?



  • 513g Dark Chocolate
  • 50g Crushed candy canes
  • 85g Butter
  • 150g Flour
  • 4g Baking Powder
  • 107g Almond Flour
  • 225g Eggs, Whole
  • 300g Sugar
  • 6g Peppermint Schnapps



  • Melt Chocolate and Butter together
  • Sift flour, baking powder and almond flour then fold into chocolate
  • Whip eggs and sugar until pale
  • Add schnapps into eggs
  • Fold chocolate into egg mixture
  • Pour into sprayed bowl and chill
  • Scoop dough into balls, roll in granulated sugar and then confectioners’ sugar
  • Place on lined sheet pan about 1 1/2in apart
  • Bake at 300 degrees until edges are set, the center will still be soft
  • Let it cool completely before removing from pan
