Lansdowne Resort in Leesburg, VA Kicks Off 2013 With a Fresh Look in Food and Beverage
In the heart of DC Wine Country, Lansdowne Resort was fortunate to welcome two new leaders to its Food and Beverage team in late 2012. Kevin Blake the Director of Food and Beverage and Hans Rouillard, Executive Chef will be helping to lead the Resort to new heights in culinary offerings.
Kevin Blake arrived at Lansdowne after serving the last two and a half years as the director of food and beverage at sister Destination Hotels & Resorts property, Wild Dunes Resort, in Charleston, SC. His expertise in the hospitality industry comes from his professional roles filled at not only other Destination Hotel & Resort properties but other well-known venues like; The Boar’s Head Inn in Charlottesville, VA; the Fairmont Hotel and the Monarch Hotel in Washington, DC. Blake is also a certified sommelier which will prove to come in handy with the large amount of local Virginia wineries now at his fingertips in our region.
Hans Rouillard is an accomplished food and beverage industry veteran with experiences spanning resorts and the corporate level. In his role as the new executive chef at Lansdowne Resort in Leesburg, Va., we will be tapping into his nearly 30 years in the hospitality industry to offer the best of latest menus, culinary expertise and offerings for your next event with us.
These gentlemen will be managing all food and beverage for not only your next banquet event but also the five outstanding restaurant outlets also here on property. Together Kevin and Hans will help Lansdowne Resort continue to create world-class dining experiences that will be critical to the positive response received by attendees from your next event with us. Their combined efforts will only help to launch Lansdowne further into the forefront of the culinary eye of our customers.
